Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and re-evaluating assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The therapist will plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician, regularly updating treatment plans and home exercise programs as needed. The role requires independent management of a full caseload and the ability to determine appropriate re-evaluations based on insurance authorization.

General Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients.
• Plan and implement therapeutic programs based on physician prescriptions.
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Manage a full caseload independently.
• Determine when to perform re-evaluations based on insurance requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with adults in outpatient and acute settings.
• Active Hawaii state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist by the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability for day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Holiday coverage may be required based on operational needs.
