Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) specializing in Pediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level 4 with a focus on Pediatric Cardiac care. This position will primarily involve working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with holiday rotation and every other weekend requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric, neonate, and infant patients in a NICU setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems for charting patient information.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory care.
• Active CRT certification and the following credentials are required: BLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and a valid South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license are accepted.
• Experience with Epic charting software is preferred.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring three 12-hour night shifts per week, with involvement in holiday and weekend rotations.

Additional Information

• Candidates must be prepared to accommodate a block schedule upon prior approval.
• Travelers should note that during hurricane season (June through November), employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
• Parking is available for a one-time fee, applicable only during nights and weekends.
