Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services in an interventional radiology setting.
Shift Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule Options:
- 4x10 hour shifts (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
- 5x8 hour shifts (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- On-call responsibilities: One weekday call per week and one weekend call every two months
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures and assist physicians during examinations
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures
- Utilize imaging equipment and techniques to obtain accurate images
- Maintain and manage imaging equipment and ensure it is functioning properly
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiology standards
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT certification required
- Virginia state license required (pending applications accepted with a temporary authorization)
- Ability to work within a 50-mile radius requirement
