Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a diverse healthcare setting. This position will involve a mix of outpatient, acute, and home health modalities, with a predominant focus on outpatient therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional occupational therapy services primarily in outpatient settings.
• Deliver care in acute hospital environments as needed.
• Conduct home health visits within a 60-mile radius, ensuring patient-centered care.
• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote patient recovery and well-being.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong general experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on outpatient services.
• Experience in acute care and home health settings is a plus.
• Prior experience treating post-operative patients, sports injuries, and geriatric populations.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and occupational therapy staff.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Work Schedule

This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule during daytime hours, with an option for 8-hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts.
