Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team. This position involves working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing a wide range of services to patients of various ages and diagnoses.

Shift Information

• Length: 8 to 12 hours
• Days: Day shifts, no nights or weekends
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to a diverse patient population.
• Evaluate and assess patients' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize Epic for documentation and charting.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Occasional floating to other clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in speech therapy.
• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must hold a valid license to practice in Minnesota; Iowa license is preferred.
• General speech therapy skills and knowledge.

Working Environment

The position is primarily based in a 25-bed critical access hospital with an outpatient therapy department. The nurse-to-patient ratio is conducive to providing quality care.

Training and Orientation

New hires will receive comprehensive training, including departmental tours, equipment orientation, and support from staff available to answer questions and assist in the transition.
