Job Overview

This position requires an experienced Ultrasonographer capable of conducting a variety of ultrasound procedures and working in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations in the following areas:
  • Abdomen: Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, and Renal (normal and pathology)
  • GYN: Breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, pelvis (both normal and pathology including post-menopausal and transvaginal exams for adult and pediatric patients)
  • OB: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester evaluations, amniocentesis, complications, biophysical profile, gestational age estimation, placental grading, abnormalities, IGUR, uterus/adnexa assessments
  • Neonatal: Assessments for congenital anomalies and neonatal head
  • Superficial structures: Assess abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum & testes, thyroid
  • Vascular: Carotid duplex, segmental pressure studies, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex
• Perform procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative interventions.

• Fuji Synapse PACS

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in an acute hospital setting as a full-time sonographer.
• Experience with at least one contract or more.
• Active certifications required:
  • ARDMS (AB)
  • ARDMS (OB)
  • ARDMS (RVT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, must be AHA certified.

Work Schedule

This position requires a 40-hour work schedule, with the possibility of call and floating to other units or departments as needed.

Dress Code

Personal scrubs and professional healthcare attire are required.
