Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This position focuses on Cardiac Nuclear Medicine and requires candidates to have experience with GE Myospect and GE 830 cameras. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Nuclear Cardiology, including exercise/rest protocols and pharmacological stress tests.
Manage the administration of radioisotopes and monitor their effects on patients.
Conduct Thallium stress tests and maintain IVs for patient procedures.
Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials.
Utilize GE Myospect and GE 830 cameras effectively in diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications:

Certification: ARRT (Radiography), BLS, CNMT required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
Proficient in adult care within clinical and hospital settings.
Experience with adenosine infusion and Persantine infusion preferred.

Shift Information:

This position is scheduled for Wednesday through Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
