Description

Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, evaluating, and delivering safe and appropriate care to patients in the Operating Room within the scope of their practice.

Education & Training Requirements

Current New Mexico or multi-state RN License
Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire
Current ACLS (AHA) certification
PALS certification preferred

Work Experience Requirements

One year of previous experience in Operating Room, Pre-Operative (Pre-OP), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or related areas is preferred

Schedule

The role includes a schedule of four 9-hour shifts per week, with a guaranteed 32 hours. The schedule may consist of either a consistent day off each week or a rotating day off that provides a three-day weekend every other week, such as alternating Tuesdays and Fridays or Mondays and Wednesdays.
