Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team. This position requires a compassionate professional who is committed to providing high-quality patient care through the administration of radiation therapy treatments.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
• Ensure the accurate delivery of radiation doses and monitor patient responses during treatment.
• Maintain and operate radiotherapy equipment in adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Assist in patient positioning and provide support to alleviate anxiety during treatment sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient treatment plans and progress accurately in medical records.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and techniques in radiation therapy.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Radiation Therapist is required.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T) is mandatory.
• Valid state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist is required at the time of submission.

Work Schedule

This position typically follows a shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
