Job Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist I is responsible for conducting various ultrasound studies, ensuring the highest standards of quality and patient care. This position requires proficiency in performing retroperitoneal, abdominal, limited, transrectal, and biopsy-assistance ultrasounds. The technologist will also verify and maintain their ARDMS or equivalent sonographer credentials.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound studies, including but not limited to retroperitoneal, abdominal, limited, transrectal, and biopsy-assistance ultrasounds.
• Verify and maintain ARDMS or equivalent sonographer credentials.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in ultrasound technology.
• Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Document procedures and results accurately in the appropriate systems.

Qualifications

• Current ARDMS or equivalent sonographer credentials required.
• Proven experience in performing ultrasound procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality patient care.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability to work 1 day per week.
