Description

Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Scheduling Details

Shift hours: 3x12s, 7 AM - 7 PM, plus call, occasional weekends, and holidays
Weekend Requirement: Rotation with staff
On-call Requirement: Call rotation includes 4-5 weekday calls per 6 weeks. May include one potential 24-hour weekend call or a backup weekend call
Requests for Time Off (RTO): All requests must be included in the submission
Call Off Policy: One shift may be canceled every two weeks
Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday during a 13-week contract period
First-Time Travelers Welcome
Local Candidates Not Accepted: Refer to submission guidelines for radius criteria

Required License and Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification from NBSTSA, NCCT, or military OR Tech Certification accepted
Virginia or relevant state license required
If traveler holds an out-of-state license, they must obtain a Virginia state license. A 90-day authorization will be required during the application process

Required Clinical Skills

Strong experience in general surgery, orthopedic procedures (total joints), vascular surgery, and gynecological procedures

Unit Details and Floating

May be required to float within skill set as needed
