Description

Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The role of Registered Nurse in the Acute Neuroscience Unit involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will engage with patients, assess their health needs, and implement care plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with medical teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and recovery processes.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a progressive care or neuroscience setting.
Proficiency in using EPIC electronic health record system is required.
Must be available for every other weekend and two holidays during the contract period.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 3x12 hour day shift, with hours from 07:00 to 19:00.

Additional Information

Locals are encouraged to apply. There are no exceptions to the requirement of EPIC proficiency.
