About the Position
We are seeking a qualified Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The position offers a day shift from 06:30 to 15:00, with responsibilities primarily in the Endoscopy Lab.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the endoscopic procedures.
- Assist in preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring a smooth patient experience.
- Participate in weekend rotations, required every third weekend, with coverage needed for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Engage in weekday on-call responsibilities from Monday through Thursday.
- Float within scope of practice as needed, although this is unlikely.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Endoscopy.
- Active South Carolina nursing license or a Compact license prior to start.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Willingness to accommodate block schedule requests, approval not guaranteed.
Miscellaneous Information
- This position requires the ability to remain within a 30-minute travel radius of the facility for call responsiveness.
- Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis, with adjusted compensation.
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
- The facility reserves the right to limit hours to one shift cancellation every two weeks.
- Parking is provided at no cost with a pass distributed at pickup.
Additional Notes
Travelers should be aware that during the hurricane season, all team members may be assigned to emergency response teams. This could impact assignment confirmations during the season running from June through November, with peak activity typically occurring in August and September.
