Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring the well-being of patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit.

Shift Information

• Type: 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Day shift from 07:00 to 19:30
• Rotation: Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and ensure adherence to established care protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• Must have two years of acute care nursing experience within the last three years.
• Epic experience is required.
• Current and valid RN license in Wisconsin or a compact RN license.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only).
• Traveler candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position.
