Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced House Supervisor to oversee nursing capacity management. This role requires strong leadership skills and extensive nursing experience to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Evening/Night shifts available
• Combination of 12-hour and 10-hour shifts to meet weekly hours
• Holiday and weekend rotation as necessary

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff on duty.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Oversee patient flow and monitor resource utilization effectively.
• Assist in resolving staff and patient issues in collaboration with the nursing team.
• Coordinate with charge nurses to manage shift assignments and workloads.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a Charge Nurse is essential.
• Completion of at least 1 travel assignment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS preferred.
• Pending licenses are accepted.
• This position guarantees a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information

• This position does not require on-call duties or floating between units.
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6.
