Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves performing a variety of essential respiratory therapies and treatments to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer aerosolized medication via Oral Inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI.
• Provide chest physiotherapy (CPT) and incentive spirometry.
• Administer oxygen therapy and manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy.
• Conduct arterial blood gas sampling (arteriocentesis).
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans.

Schedule

This position requires the candidate to work three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend. Availability to assist with holiday shifts is also important.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Experience in a travel role is preferred but not required.
• BLS and ACLS certification must be current and valid at the time of application.
• A valid license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Tennessee is required.
• Epic experience within the last 18 months is mandatory; details must be included in the application profile.

Additional Information

Ten hours of unbillable orientation will be added to the contract if the traveler does not pass the Epic test-out.
