Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a clinic associated with a hospital. The position offers a structured schedule of Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, with no weekend or on-call duties required. Preferred candidates should be willing to work five days a week, although four-day options may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality rehabilitation services to outpatient clients, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and protocols.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients of all ages and diagnoses.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including cupping, dry needling, and blood flow restriction therapy, among other options.
• Support the rehabilitation needs for a local nursing home and assisted living facility, as well as home health clients in the community.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with rehabilitation practices.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Colorado is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Work Environment

This position is located in a small rural community, approximately three hours from larger cities. The clinic offers a small fitness center within the rehabilitation department, providing additional resources for patient care.
