Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IMC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care within an Intermediate Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Shift Information

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Float required to Telemetry and/or Medical-Surgical units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit with appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to assess, plan, and implement care for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information and provide education to patients and families.
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards in patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on IMC, PCU, or Stepdown.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment is required.
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.

Unit Information

• IMC Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Telemetry and Medical-Surgical Units have a patient ratio of 1:5/1:6
