Join a dynamic echocardiography lab at a tertiary care facility that is a level I trauma center, offering rewarding opportunities to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule:
  • Rotating days, including weekends
  • Overnight call from 5:30 PM to 6:30 AM, 2-3 nights per month with guidelines for call-in
  • 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Total 40 hours per week
• Daily Workload: Perform 7-8 echocardiograms per day

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of echocardiography experience
  • At least 2 years of acute inpatient echo experience in a Level I trauma facility
• Skills:
  • Proficient in a wide range of echo procedures, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), including 3D echo and strain imaging
  • Strong understanding of complex cardiac anatomy and pathology for precise imaging and comprehensive assessments
  • Adhere to lab standards and protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy
  • Expertise in optimizing image quality via careful scanning techniques and effective use of ultrasound contrast agents
  • Ability to manage high-volume workflows in a critical care setting while maintaining diagnostic quality
  • Exceptional patient care and communication skills to ensure patient comfort and understanding during procedures
  • Strong time management skills for timely completion of echo studies
  • Commitment to a collaborative work culture, actively participating in case reviews, feedback sessions, and educational opportunities
  • Compliance with standards set by the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC)
