Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Nights, 1830 - 0700 with rotating schedule as needed.

Overview

A critical access facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients of all ages with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency nursing care to patients with diverse needs and conditions.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in medical status.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using EPIC EMR.
• Participate in training and education initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department nursing role.
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
