We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) for a Medical-Surgical unit. The successful candidates will provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Number of Openings: 3.3 FTEs on days and 4.5 FTEs on nights
• Shift: 0645P- 1915 A
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: 36 (every other weekend)
• Float Requirements: Yes

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred plus travel experience
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred
• Education Modules: LMS modules assigned

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 45
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights
• Equipment: Plum pumps, Pyxis, Ascom phones, bladder scanner, EKG machine, Phillips Cardiac Monitor
• EMR: EPIC

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients, including orthopedic, general surgery, and urology cases.
• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions and responding to any changes.
• Documenting care and ensuring accurate patient records.
• Performing telemetry monitoring and managing IV administration.
