About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Acute Inpatient Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role requires providing therapy services in an acute care setting.
Shift Information
- Shift: 5x8s, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, possibly 1-2 weekends per month
- On-call Requirement: No
- Holiday Requirement: As needed
Job Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist will deliver high-quality care to patients with various conditions, focusing on improving their daily living and working skills. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
- Implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation using electronic charting systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required
- License: South Carolina or Multistate Compact Occupational Therapist License required at the start of the contract
- Certifications: BLS, NBCOT required
- First-time travelers are not accepted
Additional Information
- No local candidates will be accepted; a local radius of 60 miles applies.
- All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
- Guaranteed hours are subject to a call-off policy: the facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
- Free parking is available on-site.
- Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June to November).

The position is based in a hospital acute care unit, where you will be part of a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to patient rehabilitation and support.
