We are seeking an experienced ICU Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including Intensive Care Units (ICU) and Progressive Care Units (PCU).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the ICU and PCU, adapting to the needs of the unit as required.
• Monitor patient conditions and progress, implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are executed effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Participate in patient and family education to promote understanding of health management and recovery processes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record system (EPIC).

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of ICU experience is required.
• Experience in Trauma Level I facilities is preferred, but candidates with Trauma Level II experience will be considered.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Must be prepared to take a telemetry test on the first day of assignment, with pass/fail results determining continued employment.
• Must have been separated from previous employment with the organization for at least 6 months to be eligible for consideration.

Work Schedule

This role requires a rotating schedule, including 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), and working 36 hours per week with every other weekend included.
