Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic clinical team. This position requires a strong background in critical care nursing and the ability to manage a diverse range of complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with critical medical conditions.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy.
- Titrate drips according to established protocols, including Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, Vasopressin, Phenylephrine, and Dopamine.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform ECG interpretation and respond to cardiac emergencies.
- Utilize advanced respiratory support equipment, including mechanical ventilators and noninvasive ventilation.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care or similar setting.
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry data independently.
- Experience managing patients with a variety of diagnoses, such as stroke, respiratory failure, and acute heart failure.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Shift Information:
- 7 PM - 7 AM shifts.
Additional Information:
- Pass an ECG exam on the second day of employment as a condition of hire.
- Holiday requirements include one major and one minor holiday per year.
- Scrubs required: Navy Blue.
