We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient/Hands Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will organize and conduct medically prescribed Occupational Therapy programs to assist individuals in enhancing their quality of life following injury, illness, or the loss of a body part. You will take into account patients' gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs when providing care.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for patients.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding the therapy process and expected outcomes.
• Float between outpatient hands and acute settings as needed.
• Ensure compliance with modalities endorsement as per Montana guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional course of education accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Montana.
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience in Occupational Therapy.
• Amiable personality with the ability to make sound judgments and maintain an empathetic and understanding attitude towards patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to different settings as required.

Additional Information:

This position may require holiday coverage and is not open to in-state travelers within a 250-mile radius of the facility. Candidates should be prepared to accommodate various patient needs in both outpatient and acute settings.
