Job Description
An MRI Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging examinations for patients. This role requires rotating coverage across multiple locations, ensuring that all imaging services are delivered safely and effectively.
Shifts
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Saturday: Schedule as required
Unit Description
The role involves working in radiology with a focus on MRI, providing services at two outpatient locations within the region. Technologists are expected to maintain high standards of care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
- Experience with Siemens MRI scanners
- Phlebotomy skills are required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically EPIC
- Ability to effectively utilize Outlook for scheduling and communication
Certifications
- ARRT certification required; ARMRIT certification is also accepted
- CPR certification required
Additional Information
- Floating between locations may be required
- Rotating holiday coverage will be part of the responsibilities
- Flexibility in shifts is necessary to meet unit needs
