Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the CVICU unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients requiring cardiovascular intensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Schedule

The position requires 3 x 12-hour shifts, with weekend coverage every other weekend. The shifts are from 07:00 to 19:30.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two years of experience in CVICU is required.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification are required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Uniform Requirements

The required scrub color for this position is green or approved scrubs.
