Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Medical/Surgical unit. This position involves providing high-quality patient care during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the medical-surgical floor.
• Monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Respond to patient needs and provide education regarding health management.
• Participate in patient assessments and develop nursing interventions.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Current nursing license in compliance with NLC guidelines.
• Ability to work 3x12 hour night shifts, with flexibility based on unit needs.
• Experience in a large hospital environment is preferred.
• Must be willing to work weekends as needed, rotating schedule for weekends may apply.
• Must reside within 100 miles of the job location; no local candidates will be considered.

Additional Information

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application. Any RTO submitted post-offer will not be eligible for approval and will need to be coordinated with the unit manager or scheduler.
