Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a variety of cardiac and peripheral procedures, providing comprehensive care in a dynamic Cath Lab environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (8 Hour Days)
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekend requirements: None
• On-call requirements: Shared call, typically 2 days per week with an off week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures including Left Heart Catheterization, Right and Left Heart Catheterization, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, and Atherectomy.
• Conduct carotid diagnostic and stenting procedures as well as peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Operate a variety of devices used in the Cath Lab, including Philips Laser Systems, IVUS, OCT, and various atherectomy devices.
• Utilize Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and manage McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic Systems.
• Rotate between scrubbing and circulating during procedures, including operation of x-ray equipment.
• Provide support in pre and post procedural areas, including patient transport and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience (required).
• Recent traveler experience is preferred.
• ACLS certification from AHA is preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA is required.
• Licensure: RCIS or compact state license is required.
