Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. This position is focused on delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Contract Details

• Start Date: Any Monday
• Contract Duration: 8 or 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Weekends: Required

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical histories
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Current Arkansas RN license or a compact state license is required
• BLS certification is mandatory
• No history of infractions on nursing license will be accepted
• Travel nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Must not have been a staff employee within the past 5 years

Miscellaneous

• Scrub Color: Any color except pink
• No on-call requirements
