Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a requirement for holiday rotation and every other weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services across all areas of the facility, including labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer therapeutic treatments and monitor patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Stay current with best practices and evolving technologies in respiratory therapy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license required at time of start.
• Current national certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) must be held at time of start.
• Recent critical care experience is essential.
• This role is limited to RRTs only; CRTs will not be considered.

Additional Information

• No on-call requirements.
• Floating within the scope may be required to meet facility needs.
• A guarantee of hours includes potential call-offs of 1 shift per 2 weeks.
• Free parking available for all staff.
• This position does not accommodate block scheduling.
• Travelers should be aware of responsibilities during hurricane season (June through November).

Work Environment

This position is based in a facility equipped with 396 staffed beds, utilizing Epic for charting. Respiratory therapy staff are expected to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs.
