Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. This role involves working in an acute care setting, providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Shift Details
- Work schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts
- Weekend requirements: Typically every 4th weekend, depending on staffing needs, with weekday coverage as needed
- On-call requirements: Yes, with call hours from 3 PM to 7 AM, based on call rotation with staff
- Potential for floating to meet facility needs
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse
- South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Additional Information
- Open to accommodating block schedule requests, though not guaranteed
- Local candidates may be accepted on a case-by-case basis
- All time-off requests must be included at the time of submission; approval is based on facility needs
- Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks
