Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician to join our team as a traveler. The ideal candidate will have experience using the DaVinci robot and performing C-sections.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field.
- Handle surgical instruments and equipment as required.
- Participate in patient care and post-operative procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Shift Details
This position is a full-time role consisting of 40 hours per week across five 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. On-call requirements include every other 2-3 weekdays and 48 hours every 2-3 weekends.
The candidate must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes of being called for on-call duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Surgical Technician.
- Expertise in the use of the DaVinci robotic surgical system.
- Experience in performing C-sections is essential.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duration
This contract position is expected to last for 13 weeks.
