Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Stepdown and prior travel experience. This position requires floating between various units, providing essential care to patients across different settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on medical floors, stepdown units, and within surgical/oncology settings.
• Float between departments as needed, mainly focusing on stepdown patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and assess needs to deliver appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Stepdown unit; ICU experience is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Ability to float between different units, adapting to varied patient care needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably Epic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
