Shift Information

Shifts: Varied - average of 3 days of call per month. No guarantee of hours or time requested off.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer required by the start of the assignment.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technologist will perform radiographic procedures and imaging services with proficiency in the operation of various radiographic equipment, including but not limited to:

• DR fixed equipment
• DR fluoroscopic equipment
• C-arms
• Portable DR equipment

Experience with specific equipment such as Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, and the Epic EMR system is preferred. The technologist will be responsible for adhering to radiation safety protocols and must possess a dosimetry badge.

All candidates must arrive on the island the Friday prior to the Monday start date for HR and clearance appointments. Note that no requests for time off (RTO) will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract.

General Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the operation of radiographic equipment.
• Ability to function independently without supervision.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols.
• Experience with Epic EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR preferred.
