Description
Scheduling Details and Charting
The Physical Therapist position comes with the following scheduling details:
- Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend coverage: Once per month
- Epic experience preferred
- All requests for time off must be included with the submission
- Facility may call off one shift every two weeks
- May be required to work one holiday during a 13-week contract rotation
- First-time travelers not accepted
- Local candidates not accepted; radius rule applies
Required License, Education, and Certifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Virginia Physical Therapy license (can apply immediately upon offer)
- BLS / ARRT(R) certification
- Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
Required Clinical Skills and Experience
The following clinical skills and experience are essential:
- Experience in outpatient clinics and acute care
Unit Details and Floating
In this role, the Physical Therapist will work primarily in an outpatient setting, with monthly weekend coverage required in an acute care setting.
