Description

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting and demonstrate proficiency in both adult and pediatric care.

Schedule

Orientation every Monday
Shifts available: 3x12-hour shifts, including mids and evenings
Weekend coverage required: Every other weekend (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule on Friday and Saturday nights)

Patient Ratio

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-6.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
Must have completed at least 1 travel nursing assignment
Experience in a general emergency department (combined adult/pediatrics) is essential
Proficiency in CERNER is required

Certifications

The following certifications are required:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Additional Information

Scrubs are not provided; royal blue scrubs are required.
