Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Shift: 3x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:30)
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week available
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (4 weekends in a 4-week cycle)
- Holidays: Required as they fall, as scheduled
- Floating: Required within the specialty and lower acuity as needed
Patient Care Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following:
- Providing high-quality patient care for individuals within the telemetry unit.
- Monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes in status.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications
- 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
- Current Maryland RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications are required.
