Description
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. This role is vital in evaluating patients, creating treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and treatment of patients based on physician orders or referrals.
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
- Document services accurately and timely to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and family members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain adherence to safety and regulatory standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD).
- Active state Occupational Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong clinical skills with proven documentation and communication abilities.
