We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to perform General MRI and MRA procedures, ensuring optimal patient flow. As a vital member of the radiology team, you will contribute to high-quality care within a culturally diverse community.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for conducting MRI and MRA procedures, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology.
• Certification:
  • Current Arizona State License in Radiology and MRI.
  • Current ARRT Certification in Radiology (RT(R)) and MRI (MR).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in MRI procedures.
• Experience with PACS/RIS systems, email, and general computer applications.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability for 13-hour shifts on weekends (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Holiday coverage is also required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI and MRA procedures to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for effective patient care.
• Document procedures and results accurately in patient records.
