Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry to join our team. This position offers various scheduling options, including 4x12, 3x12, or 2x12 shifts. The day shift consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
• Utilize effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing is required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory, and applicants must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty is required for submission. Charge RN references are accepted.

Additional Information

During the orientation process, candidates will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment, achieving acceptable scores on both assessments to qualify for the role.

Hours worked will be submitted through Qualivis - Lotus.
