Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to provide outstanding patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and be able to adapt to the dynamic needs of the unit.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1900-0730
• Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts
• FLOAT is required if needed
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, subject to change based on need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, assessing and prioritizing patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Utilize the EPIC documentation system for accurate patient record management.
• Administer medications using the Omnicell medication system.
• Participate in emergency response initiatives and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in an Emergency Room.
• Proficient in the EPIC documentation system, with at least 1 year of experience.
• Active certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI/MAB, and TNCC.
• Willingness to consider first-time travelers based on relevant experience.
