Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular operating room settings and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Shift Information
- Schedule: 10-hour days, Monday – Friday
- Shift Hours: 06:30 – 17:00
- Call: 10 days/month, including one weekend/month
Qualifications
- Current BCLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR
- Ability to circulate in a cardiovascular operating room
- Preferred: CNOR certification and scrub experience
- First-time travelers are welcome
Orientation
Orientation will consist of 36 hours, and scrubs will be provided for the duration.
Unit Information
Our unit comprises 3 operating rooms catering to adult and geriatric patients, ranging from their 20s to 90s. We perform a variety of complex procedures, including:
- Aortic and Mitral Valve surgeries
- ASD and Redo Surgeries
- Esophagogastrectomies
- CABG with and without valve repair/replacement
- VATS, Thoracotomy, and Mediastinoscopy
- Mitral Clip and TAVR procedures
- Ascending Aortic Aneurysm Repairs
- Groin Exploration and Port a Cath Placement
- Robotic Thoracic Surgery
- Carotid Endarterectomy
- IABP insertion and removal
- Myxoma Removal and Pneumonectomy
- Chamberlin Procedure and Tracheostomy
- VSD surgeries
