Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiac Telemetry to join our team. This position primarily focuses on the care of cardiac patients and includes a secondary emphasis on respiratory issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care to individuals with cardiac conditions, including Congestive Heart Failure, myocardial infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and arrhythmias.
• Monitor and manage patients experiencing respiratory problems, such as COPD and pneumonia.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical assessment skills to deliver high-quality care.
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in Cardiac Telemetry is required.
• First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
• Strong focus on cardiac and respiratory patient care.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 3x12 hour shift schedule, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and includes every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Additional Requirements

• Floating to different units may be required based on staffing needs.
