Description

Audiologist

The Audiologist will provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic services, working with both pediatric and adult populations. This position requires travel between multiple locations within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform audiological evaluations for pediatric and adult patients.
Administer Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) Neurological and threshold studies, both in-office and in the operating room.
Conduct Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) testing.
Execute Videonystagmography (VNG) assessments.
Perform vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (VEMPs) testing.
Carry out Video Head Impulse Test (VHIT) evaluations.
Utilize a rotary chair for balance assessments.
Conduct Electrocochleography (ECochG) studies.

Qualifications:

Must maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Contribute to the annual budget and equipment request planning processes.

This role encompasses a full range of advanced audiological diagnostic services, ensuring quality care and effective treatment for all patients. The Audiologist will play a vital role in the assessment and management of hearing and balance disorders.
