We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care to patients in a cardiology setting. The RN will follow established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques while demonstrating competence in making professional judgments regarding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care and treatment, including examination, diagnostic and treatment procedures, medications, and patient education.
• Assist healthcare providers in patient care and provide educational support to patients and families.
• Collaborate effectively as part of the healthcare team to coordinate care for patients, families, and caregivers.
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations while adhering to safety protocols.
• Administer various medications and treatments, utilizing different types of equipment for examination and treatment procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understanding of nursing principles, skills, and practices necessary for quality patient care.
• Aware of common safety hazards and precautions within a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures.
• Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, following written and verbal instructions from physicians.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize, make quick decisions, and recommend effective solutions.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.

Licensure and Certifications

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, with biannual renewal required.

Shift Information

This position is a day shift role, Monday to Friday. Holiday coverage is not required.
