Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a clinical environment. This role plays a crucial part in patient care by ensuring high-quality imaging results necessary for physician diagnosis and treatment.
Shift Details
Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X-rays and other diagnostic modalities.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures while operating imaging equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate images for diagnosis.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
- Document patient history and ensure proper handling of imaging results.
- Educate patients regarding the procedures and answer any questions they may have.
Qualifications
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- ARRT certification required.
- Current state licensure in radiologic technology, as applicable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in emergency department and outpatient diagnostic imaging.
- Proficiency in using imaging software and technology.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
