Description
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals.
- Develop and continuously update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in service delivery.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD).
- Active state Occupational Therapy license, or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong clinical skills, as well as documentation and communication abilities.
