Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a MedSurg setting, specializing in Ortho, Neuro, and Pediatrics. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for nurses passionate about providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the MedSurg unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care planning.

Shift Details

This position is for night shifts, working four 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Scheduling includes weekends, with a commitment to minimal or no requests for time off during the assignment.

Requirements

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Minimum of one year of recent MedSurg nursing experience.
• Experience in Ortho, Neuro, or Pediatric care preferred.
• Proficient in intermediate skills, including IV starts.
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:7.
• Previous travel nursing experience is advantageous.

Uniform

Royal Blue scrubs are required for this position and will not be provided.
