Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with experience in Interventional Radiology to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients undergoing heart catheterization procedures, including right heart catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, and low-risk percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing heart catheterization procedures by preparing and maintaining the cath lab environment.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Teleflex IABP, Implella, and Boston Scientific IVUS.
• Provide care to patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Participate in quality control and compliance with safety regulations within the cath lab.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information using EPIC.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, typically from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Call is required every third weekend, along with 1-2 call days during the week. Weekend coverage may vary based on departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Certification: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS required.
• Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience is necessary for application.
• Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, specifically with Interventional Radiology, is preferred.
• New travelers are welcome to apply based on relevant experience.

Special Equipment
